Get to know mallorca from a balloon

Been there recently?

Everyone can help to mount the balloons (always guided by the pilots), once half filled with the air of powerful fans, the flames of the burners break the silence of the morning and begin to raise the canvas. It’s time: Everyone to climb the globes, radios, altimeter, GPS, compass, maps, etc. Once everything is in the balloon, we take off.

After the moment of excitement comes calm. Meter by meter we rise gently and begin to contemplate the landscape, soon we will see Cabrera, perhaps Menorca when we reach 300 or 500 meters. In the balloon it is not cold since we fly into the wind with the wind and we do not notice it. The silence and the feeling of freedom are unique, towns, farms and mountains are at our feet.

Flight time flies by, but memories are forever etched in our hearts and our pupils shine to the sound of the sun’s rays. Once on the ground we celebrate the traditional christening of the air with the corresponding flight certificate.

About Manacor
Manacor is the second largest city in Mallorca, after the capital Palma. The city's reputation as the cradle of Mallorca's industry has left Manacor with a very distinctive feel. The largely residential city is situated on the northeast tip of the island, and many of the nearby seaside resorts and attractions are within its municipality.
History and culture
The city of Manacor dates back further than much of the island, and it appears that humans inhabited the area from around 2000 BC. In more recent times it was occupied by the Romans before it became the home of the Moors.
The modern history of Manacor begins around 1200, when it was granted a municipality for the first time. The site of the parish church, Nostra Senyora dels Dolors, has been home to many churches. The oldest church dates back to 1232 and was probably the first church here after the Arab occupation.
The year 1879 saw the opening of the railway between Manacor and Inca. Just 18 years after this, the world famous pearl manufacturer Majorica was founded. The success helped Manacor to establish itself as an important player in Mallorca. In 1912, as the population grew, Manacor officially became a city.
